Community Manager

About the Community: This position will oversee two residential communities, including Parke Place (145 units) and Homestead Talking Glass (214 units) located in Prescott Valley, AZ.

About the Role: Northland is seeking a dedicated Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at these communities. The Community Manager will monitor and enforce compliance with all company policies and procedures, provide supervision of onsite staff and vendors, and adhere to deadlines on legal or financial responsibilities of the community. In addition, the Community Manager will be responsible for profitability, cost control, and maintaining the operating budget.

Qualifications & Requirements: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

  • At least two years of experience in multifamily property operations.
  • Experience managing direct reports, including maintenance staff and contractors preferred.
  • The ability to multitask and manage time effectively while adhering to certain deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors.
  • The desire to strategically advertise the community while staying in-tune with a competitive market.
  • Experience with Yardi software preferred.
